What does Pico Laser Treat?
Pico Laser Treatments are effective for Stubborn Pigmentations such as:
- Freckles
- Hori's Nevus
- Melasma
- Solar Lentigo
- Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
How Does Pico Laser Work?
One type of Picosecond Laser is the Lutronic's PicoPlus, which is found to be safer and more effective than traditional lasers.
It uses higher energy (photo-acoustic effect) that shatters pigmentation into much smaller fragments for the body to efficiently flush out. PicoLaser is non-surgical which uses 450 picosecond laser pulses, unlike Q-switched laser that uses nanosecond pulses (100z shorter) - this means PicoLaser exposes less heat on the skin.

What makes Pico Laser different?
Pico Laser uses ultra-short pulse duration, which can deliver up to 1.8GW. This allows pigments to be broken down into much smaller fragments to make it easier for the body to flush out of the system. This also means fewer treatment sessions.
Dr Justin Boey uses this technology, which makes him quickly get rid of his clients' stubborn pigmentations.
Review and Results from Pico Plus
Excellent Technology
KOSDAQ-listed Lutronic Corporation is a leading medical laser manufacturer from Korea that developed and produced PicoPlus. The stable laser used in this technology comes from Lutronic's long-standing track record of providing excellent pigment lasers such as Spectra XT and Pico 4+
High-Quality Performance
Lutronic PicoPlus uses 450 picosecond pulse energy and generates 1.8GM of power - this leads to faster results with few sessions.
Pico Laser - Third Party Review
Lutronic PicoPlus is available in Singapore just like PicoSure and PicoWay. Other laser treatments that are introduced as "Pico technology" may not have real picosecond laser which may not bring the same results as PicoPlus.
Lutronic PicoPlus is designed Pigmentation in Asian Skin
The first generation version of PicoPlus was initially created for tattoo removal, Lutronic PicoPlus is then designed by Koreans to specifically target Pigmentation Removal in Asian Skin. Laser settings are carefully tweaked and customized to target darker skin types effectively.
Four Wavelengths for Flawless Skin
Lutropnic PicoPlus uses 4 Picosecond wavelengths (532nm, 595nm, 660nm and 1064nm) to treat stubborn pigmentations effectively.
